Upgrading to a new class
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is one of the world’s leading airports with a comprehensive air network connecting over 220 destinations worldwide and is committed to becoming one of the world’s greenest airports.
At the Hong Kong International Airport, large crowds visit the washroom facilities, often within short high traffic periods such as flight boarding or disembarking.
For this case, washrooms and the accessories must withstand extremely high usage. Durability and extra-large capacities become essential design considerations and vandalism and abuse can be expected.
For this project, we installed Bobrick model B2892 & B43944, designed for high traffic application, a rugged best seller that provides performance, reliability and high capacity.
To meet Environmental sustainability, the project selected several Bobrick products. The B2974 Universal Roll Paper Towel Dispenser, which Reduce Towel Use up to 30%; The B43944 Reducing Towel Use up to 20%; and the Baby Changing Stations by Koala Kare Products crafted from various percentages of recycled content.
Bobrick products not only help contribute to the LEED certification program, but also reduce long-term operating cost and support social responsibility.
